The Administrative Assistant Professional supports UW-Green Bay's mission to expand access to high-quality, lifelong learning across Northeast Wisconsin. Located within the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training, this role helps advance the University's strategic priorities by ensuring professional development programs, trainings, and events are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on service. This position provides essential administrative, financial, and operational support, including managing registrations, processing financial transactions, coordinating instructors, supporting program logistics, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting, while embracing challenges, building community, and supporting access to lifelong learning opportunities.
Key Job Responsibilities:Continuing Education
Compensation:Minimum hourly compensation of $18.18. This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Required Qualifications:
Position is a full-time University Staff appointment.The work hours for this position will be 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday on the Green Bay campus.This position may have the option to work on-campusor a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request.
A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In addition, if the final selected candidate has prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct will be completed. A six-month probationary period is required for this position. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.
