Leila Bakery and Cafe is a fast-growing artisanal bakery specializing in quiche, kolache, and scratch made pastries of all kinds. We create food for our own brick and mortar location, as well as multiple small businesses around Dallas.

We are looking for an intentional and reliable dishwasher at our Lakewood location. This position requires attention to detail, a high level of persistence & consistency, and enthusiasm for working as part of a team. You will be washing dishes from our morning bake-off, daily production, and front of house service. Additionally, we will be relying on you to maintain cleanliness of the dish pit area, organization of all kitchen cleaning materials, organization of kitchen wares, and contribute to basic kitchen cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Wash FOH & BOH dishes.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety standards.
  

• Maintain organization of kitchen supplies and equipment.
  

• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and assist Executive Chef with inventory monitoring.
  

• Contribute with the rest of the team to basic kitchen cleaning and chores.
  

• Collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule : Part-time/Full-time, Morning Shifts (7:00am 3pm), M/W/F/Sa/Su
  

• Compensation : Competitive hourly rate based on experience (starting at $16.00/hour + tips)
