Job Title: Veterinary Practice Manager
Location : PetCura Animal Hospital - Livermore.
Job Type : Full-Time.
Experience Level : Management/Veterinary Administration.

We are a full service, modern veterinary hospital equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including in-house lab, digital radiography, Ultrasound and dental imaging. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to help lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Summary:

The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hospital, manage staff, coordinate administrative functions, and work closely with the medical director to uphold our standards of care and client service. The ideal candidate is an experienced veterinary technician with prior experience in veterinary or healthcare management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the veterinary team including technicians, assistants, and front desk staff.
  • Oversee scheduling, HR functions, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain compliance with veterinary and workplace regulations.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relations, and budgeting.
  • Address client concerns and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Improve the efficiency of operations and patient flow.
  • Assist with marketing, community outreach, and social media presence.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of veterinary management or healthcare administration experience required (veterinary technician experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in practice management software (Idexx Neo or similar).
  • Familiarity with budgeting, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and workflow preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or RVT is a plus.
