Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position available as a travel/temporary assignment in Angleton, TX. This 13-week contract runs for daytime shifts in a long-term care nursing home setting. Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising physical therapist with implementation of the plan of care for residents, under direction.
- Support patient participation in therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance, and functional activities.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and ensure safe use of equipment; monitor patient safety and progress.
- Document patient responses, progress, and any changes in status; communicate effectively with the PT, nursing staff, and care team.
- Support daily operations, including positioning, ROM activities, and basic therapeutic interventions as directed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, progress, and safety considerations.

Requirements
- Willingness to work in a long-term care setting (LTC) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with daytime shifts.
- Ability to meet the demands of a clinical environment and participate in prescribed treatment plans.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to support resident care and care team coordination.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States (no remote work required).
